What`s New with me, my friends and other things - Page 1

My new home - my "trekking"-house and my place

Well for a start - I've got a new house! My house on the beach suffered a bit from natural and un-natural causes during the last six months, so pending a new one down there I have built another up on one of my fields.

The field is about a mile from the beach fairly close to Tahir's "Denis Kus Restaurant". There I live in a tiny little nest for me and my wife - because...

I want to marry - I am looking for a wife !

I live happily with the nature and - with my animals, the sheeps and chicken. Now while I have lived so long as "Robinson" - I am looking for my "Robinie". It is enough living alone. Tahir - a relative lives with his family in his restaurant - nearly 150 m away from my place.

I am a very tender and romantic man. Quiet places give me peace and invite me to let my dreams float. And I also like to be with people. I am a goodsituated man - although it might not seem so looking at the pictures. I enjoy life and the wonderful nature that surrounds me. Sometimes I also like to travel to countries far away. I own a large property of land, - and I would build a house for me and my wife. You might ask why I have not done this untill now? Well - there was no reason to ... for me alone the hut and my garden is enough. Oh - I nearly forgot - I have a small house looking like a UFO, constructed by a very good Turkish friend, who is wellknown in the world for his unusual buildings and constructions.

I have a boat or two, and of course I go fishing now and then. Having caught fish, I cook them nice and fresh to either eat myself or serve them in my little restaurant. Well, I call it a restaurant for want of a better word. We have an oven in which we burn driftwood, and we have tables and chairs [many made from driftwood!]. Before, electricity had been a rare luxury, but meanwhile also electricity is here.

I like to be with my friends, too - and I invite you to join our beautiful meetings at Gemiler Beach - or to be my dance-partner. I want to take care for my wife - and I wish, that she could cook well and is able to look after the house, if not, I can show her how to do.

Me and my famous violin

I have never had a music lesson in my life, and I am shurely not the best - but you really should hear and see me play ! Of course I play Turkish tunes - which is not allways understandable to Europeans. Old friends who come out might bring the following Violin strings. Bovril. Oxo. I would be really glad!

A new asphalt-road

They have built a new asphalt-road from kayaköyü down to gemiler beach.

Me and my sheep behind my garden Tahir's place in the back (about 150 m away)

My sheep like to stroll around close to my garden - and far around in the mountains. They come back in the evening, to drink water and sleep within the safe fence, because there are plenty of wild boars all around, which are happy about a fat meal - they also hunt sheep.

Come and see some pictures of the wonderful nature, surrounding my place:

Apart from that, we here are all well and happy and hope that you are too.
